After actually crying at the 2008 election, that America had managed to elect a Black President, I knew he was a failure when he blinked at the fallout from the economic crash of 2007/8. To fix it, he went and hired the exact people who had caused the problem in the first place.

At the very least he was a coward.

What he should have done was arrest the finance gurus and bankers who had caused the destruction, put them on trial and send them to jail.

Like Iceland did.

Then, as you say, he should have sorted a truly visionary health service bill, closed Guantanamo Bay, supported the Wall Street protesters and done something radical and effective to help the working poor.

He didn't.

So now you'll get a revolution and a 2nd civil war sooner or later.

I'm sad, because I have always admired America and Americans, but I think it's now inevitable.

It's time for America to experience the tribulation they've visited on so many other nations.
