Bastet deals with an annoying apecat habit.

O Great Bastet, I am very worried for my littermate, Lola.
The thing is we live with an apecat family, two adults, three apekittens and they are mostly nice to us, although the apekittens need more discipline. There are regular treats of chicken.
A while ago the tom-apecat came home with a small stick. He played with it for a while and there was a bright dot dancing on the floor and the table and both Lola and me got very excited and tried as hard as we could to kill it, but we couldn’t. The bright dot went away so we forgot it and then it came back later on and we tried to kill it again but failed again. There was a lot of apecat haw-haw-haw noise.
After that I was bored with the bright dot but Lola became very tense and tried even harder to stalk the bright dot and jump on it — but it always escaped, sometimes even moving across my paws and back.
Lola is still trying to kill the bright dot but she doesn’t seem to enjoy it. Sometimes the bright dot climbs up the walls and she tries to follow it up the wall but she falls back down of course.
This is making her very tired and frustrated so she won’t play tail-tag with me and she’s even obsessed with the bright dot when it isn’t there!
