Er… no. Where do you get that idea?
I was saying that patriarchy isn’t monolithic — there’s one form of it in the USA, different forms of it in Europe, South America, India.
What to do about patriarchy so that women can breathe freely is a complex question, and I have no cheap and easy answers to it. Patriarchy has been a ruling ideology since agriculture brought fenced land and people tied to it.
Perhaps we could go back to the many thousands of years during which we were hunter-gatherers, when there seems to have been a far more egalitarian system that allowed for both male and female power.
Or maybe we have to come up with a totally new way to organise people?
One thing I’m sure of is that patriarchy won’t let go easily and anyone who thinks that “of course all women are against patriarchy” is fooling themselves.
