Good lord, haven't you ever heard of economics? I like capitalism which mimics nature better than you may think. The problem with it is that it assumes infinite growth on a finite planet. That can't continue for long because the system will collapse.

The only solution is to colonise the moon, Mars etc. Space is pretty much infinite (as far as we know) so no more finite planet problems.
