I am utterly rubbish at growing plants - I've tried and they always die. I'm a writer. I can probably tell stories round the campfire but don't see that as a viable way of making a living.

I think the profession of nightsoil operative and pure-finder is beckoning.

Also the oligarchs of 1930s Germany were all sure they could control Hitler which is why they elected him.

Clearly our current oligarchs are equally dumb.
