I got into trouble with credit cards around 2010. I did a lot of things to pay it all off and then I got rescued by the Bank of Mum and Dad when my mother died and I received an inheritance.

Since then I have never had any kind of debt. Not an overdraft, not credit cards, not even a mortgage. I'm a much happier person, I can tell you.
