I would have thought that this would work — I’ve read Jonathan Haidt too. However nobody could be a better talker-to-elephants than Jeremy Corbyn, the Labour candidate, whereas Boris Johnson, the Tory candidate, was the opposite. And Boris won with a big fat majority, given to him because 2 million Labour voters switched to the Tories.

I’m fascinated as to why.
