I've always loved bichon frise dogs, even though I normally prefer bigger dogs. My old labrador Jack had a great friend in a bichon frise - who was older than him and so Jack did his best to be respectful to him which meant lying on his tum so he could look up to the tiny wise puffball. Always made me laugh.

We too are social animals like dogs and we too can behave better than we do at the moment.

We have to completely transform our economics, politics and societies so that we can live in harmony with the Lady Earth and all her species thriving with us.

It's a tall order; you might say it's daft, really.

But we have to try.
