Just catching up with this.

Excellent article, Umair - really brilliant. Yes, it's all true - especially about Brexit which is rapidly going more sour than a vat of sulphuric acid.

Partygate is hilarious. Did you know that in two years, Boris's No 10 has had more parties of all sorts, many illegal, than all 8 years of Tony Blair? They're worse than demagogues. They're second-rate journalists still living the journo lifestyle and they have not a clue how to run a country. Being clever with words just doesn't cut it.

I know this because I'm clever with words and I'm less impressed by that facility.

You need to be organised as well.

Trouble is, Sir Keir Starmer, although the opposite of Boris, also has negative charisma - though I suspect people will quite like that after they've had a few more months of Boris battling on as the country goes to hell.

He's doing his best to twist out of the trap he's made for himself with operation "Big Dog" (save Boris) and operation "Red Meat" (distract the people with manufactured controversies like trying to destroy the BBC.) You literally couldn't make this stuff up.

At the moment, the Tory party are desperately trying to separate themselves from Boris's now putrescent brand.

Never forget that the Tories voted him in as their leader. They did this, they profited from it, they partied with Boris Johnson.

The Tories are guilty as sin.
