My first clear memory of politics is when Winston Churchill died because Sooty was cancelled and I was cross. I do remember the Cuban missile crisis because my Daddy came and asked me to help pray for the world so there wouldn't be another World War. We asked Jesus to look after the world and make it really better and that was it - problem solved.
