Something around 50 million people died in the extended epidemic of Spanish flu in 1919-21.

If we let covid 19 rip, we'll be lucky to get away with only 100 million deaths.

100 milllion funeral pyres - there won't be a tree left in the world.

I've signed every petition - big fat hairy deal. I've also been vaccinated (Astra-Zeneca, since you ask.)

The action that needs to be taken is temporary lifting of the patents on vaccines - it's a no-brainer and can literally be done at the stroke of a pen. It's easy and it's urgent and...

Capitalism says no.

Do we have to shoot the billionaire capitalists? Do we need a bloody revolution? Because frankly I'd rather not - bloody revolutions normally end with eating their children and the worst psychopath in charge.

We need to ignore capitalism and do what's right. Remove the patents on all the covid19 vaccines for the next year. Because the alternative is chaos, warfare, blood and death.
