Sorry, but this is not good enough. You have outlined the problem but not the solution. It's true we didn't evolve to cope with a long term problem that is worsening slowly and is devastatingly abstract so no nice villains to hate. In fact we humans are the villains.

The solution is co-operation and kindness - and lots of tech. So uninspiring.

I'm trying to come up with a solution myself, so far without success.
