Yes, we are in deep deep self-inflicted trouble.

Yes, predatory capitalism is out of control and behaving like a classic golem.

Yes, we're zonking out on trash culture so we don't have to face what's happening.

This is a quotation from a poem I published on Substack (Despair patriciafinney2.substack.com).

Understandably we don't want to face this fact because then we would have to transform how we behave and we don't want to.

We would also have to transform how the Idiots in the fossil fuel companies, Big Weapns, Big Pharma and Big Ag behave - which would actually be quite simple. Just a few rule changes.

However I believe a new culture is growing under the concrete and will be pushing it and buckling it and breaking it apart.
