There's a little ray of light in this.

By making wearing a mask and getting vaccinated a tribal sign of membership of the Democrats, the Republicans are losing voters to Covid19. Most people dying in hospital from covid now are vaccination-refusers or delayers or whatever.

The thing is, they're Republican voters and they're dying.
