Mostly purple toadflax actually

Valerian

I imagine a warrior, handsome and buff

But sensitive and kind.

Kindness is essential, the seed of love –

Not the crazy passionate doomed kind,

The long-lasting kind.

The actual herb is not notably martial,

Growing out of walls in pink and white

Bottle-brushes. Its roots are good

For sleep.
