You're right of course.

Publicly run companies aren't perfect, of course - the nationalised British Rail of my youth was notorious for slow trains, delays, terrible sandwiches etc and so on. Then John Major tried to privatise the railways. The sandwiches got better briefly but there were crashes until they renationalised the company looking after the actual rails themselves. In the end they made everyone nostalgic for British Rail.

I think it's all been nationalised again due to Covid.

However I think most people understand the concept that, as Gordon Brown pointed out "Nobody's safe until everybody's safe."

I think most people want everyone to have vaccines.

How do we translate this into action quickly?
