Our worst problem with climate breakdown is that almost everybody thinks of it as a side issue. They think the important issues are politics or economics or Kardashians. No, they're not.

It's something to end the news with - the hippo who met a princess - not the headline, not the main part of the news.

It is absolutely the main issue. We have to STOP burning fossil fuels for energy right now and we have to sequester CO2 in every way we can, including regenerative agriculture. That should be the priority in people's minds.

It doesn't have to stay the priority because if we stave off climate collapse, we will have time for the New Deal as well.

But first we have to stop digging our hole. First we have to stop burning fossil fuels because everything comes from that.
