You also haven't yet read Nancy Maclean's book "Democracy in Chains" which explains where all this neoliberal fascism comes from - and why it's winning.

As you pointed out - the Left doesn't have a plan and shares neoliberal ideology with the Right (which is plain daft). The Fascists do have a plan, backed by lots of money (Charles Koch etc) and their plan is winning unopposed.

This is where all the shiny new Fascists come from to stock the thinktanks.

Yes, the UK is on a downward slope, like the USA. Part of that is normal churn in international politics, part of it the purpose of the Right to put the Rich in command.

We need to destroy the tabloid press and all the fake news pedlars because naked greed is an ugly thing - so take its media figleaf away.

I rely on administrative and political incompetence, vicious factionalism in the Tory party and the fact that the English love a good riot to save us all.
